Kanga House

141 Victoria Street, Sydney, Australia, 2011

Description

Kanga House is the number one backpacker budget accommodation in Sydney, Kings Cross - if you are looking for a place with great atmosphere, clean rooms and everything a traveller needs, you've come to the right spot.

Kanga House is totally family owned and operated and we were one of the first hostels in Kings Cross, right in the heart of Sydney, long before the area developed into the 'Backpackers Mecca' it is today.

Centrally located, we are only a "hop, skip and a jump" away from everything.

Sleep with us and wake up to a free breakfast. Have a drink on us in one of the many surrounding pubs with our free beer vouchers. Or join us at a free BBQ every Sunday night in our courtyard, overlooking Sydney's fabulous city skyline, with fantastic views to the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge.

Directions

How to get to the Kanga House by bus shuttle:
We recommend you catch one of the frequent shuttle services from the Airport. They use 15 seater vans that start from just outside Arrivals.
At the International Terminal they are out the door and to the right and at the Domestic Terminal they are between T1 and T2. They cost about $10 one way and most have representatives at the main terminals. They will bring you straight through to Kanga House in about 30 mins from the Airport.
